Why is anal sex so pleasurable?? Well, there's a few reasons. The anus has so many nerve endings and it is very sensitive, so when stimulated, you can experience pleasure. For men, the hot spot is the prostate and when having anal sex or during butt play there is pressure next to the prostate, which is really pleasurable. For women, butt play and anal sex increase the pleasurable feeling because it can stimulate the backside of the clitoris and the vaginal canal.

Tip 1: Letting the fear go!
There is a lot of fear with anal sex, that it's going to hurt or maybe there's some pride involved. The fear of pain is going to prevent you from relaxing. So we need to condition ourselves to be relaxed and let go.

Tip 2: Breathing
Something that will help you to relax will be breathing. You will want to start by breathing in slow and deep. Also, breathing together with you and your partner is going to make the experience more intimate.

Tip 3: Kegel exercises
Kegel exercises are really important to give you a strong pelvic floor and help with anal sex. This will tone the puborectalis muscle (a U-shaped band that is located where the rectum meets the anus) and will increase the control of your external sphincter. Also, doing kegels is going to make you relax a lot more.

How to do kegel exercises: You will be using that muscle you use to stop yourself midstream while peeing. You will want to inhale and tighten for the count of four and hold and then exhale and release for the count of six. Practice makes perfect here! Tip 4: Use finger with lube When you're ready, use your finger first with a little lube. Also, make sure those nails are manicured, cut well and clean. You do not want any cuts in the anus, especially with dirty fingernails. While doing using your finger, make sure you're breathing and doing the kegel exercises. This is going to draw the finger in further. Now, if it hurts too much, go ahead and stop.

Tip 5: Try Anal beads or butt plugs
When you have mastered the finger, you can move on to anal beads or butt plugs. Again, make sure you are using lube. Lube is so crucial because we do not want to create any tears in the anus. Also, not having lube can have an increase the risk of STI's.

Tip 6: Keeping it clean!
When you start putting objects in your anus, you will want to make sure you are clean up there. How you do this will be with your diet. You want to make sure you're improving your diet by eating more natural foods, not processed or fast food, and increasing fiber in your diet. Also, what can help would be using an anal irrigation device. You can use an ear or nose irrigation system but only use this for your anus, if that's what you're using it for. I have an anal starter kit on my website, which will be super helpful for beginners.

How to use an anal irrigation device: You would use about an ounce of clean water into the device, put a little bit of lube at the top of the stem and insert it into the anus. You will then squirt all of the water inside the anus and hold for a minute or as long as you can. Then you would release into the toilet. You will want to repeat this process until the water is completely clear.

Now, let's recap on how to prepare for anal sex:
Tip 1: Letting go of the fear - Relax
Tip 2: Breathing - Slow and deep, before and during
Tip 3: Kegel Exercises - Practice makes perfect
Tip 4: Finger with Lube - Keep those nails manicured and clean
Tip 5: Keeping it clean - Eating clean and an anal irrigation (check out the anal kit below)
Tip 6: Butt Toys
 - Introduce anal toys (check out the anal kit below)

Once you have conquered butt toys, you will be ready for full anal sex, but don't forget lube!!

Remember to be kind to yourself and get it on!!
