Stay positive! It promotes wellness within - gets better and heals a lot faster. Depending on what area you had surgery - say legs or hip are - you will really want to consult your doctor on when you can start thrusting and having sex. They will give you a lot more indication of when where and what you can do But focus on what you can - it's really easy to get depressed after surgery so stay positive. Pain medication - make sure you take those before having sex. They can make you tired and screw with your erection. Hygiene - You probably won’t be able to jump in the shower right after surgery - so make sure you have a washcloth with warm water and soap and make sure you are nice and fresh down there. It's important to do this before and after sex. What can you do? You might need to resort back to manual and oral. So this could be a fun role-play session. - We can’t have sex, playing it safe - being teenagers again. Also, brush up your skills with oral. Sex doesn’t always mean penetration. Outercourse and be just as fun as intercourse. When you are having intercourse - make sure the partner that is not injured checks the surgery site, just in case the area is being rubbed, because it will be numb and could cause more damage. First and foremost stay positive, you got this!!
